In the name of God Amen The thirtyeth

of December 1661 in the thirteenth yeare of 

the Raine of our soveraigne Lord Charles the second

By the grace of god of England Scotland France and 

Ireland Kinge defeneer of the faith xi I Isabell

Browning of Colebrooke in the Countie of Bucks

Widdow being weake in body but in perfect memory

blessed be the Lord doe hereby make & ordayne this my

last will & testament And first I bequeath my soule

into the Boosome of god my maker hoping by the

merritts of Christ my redeemer to be made pertakers

with him in Glory And for the small estate that god

hath lent me I give and bequeath as followeth vizt


Imprimus I give & bequeath unto my daughter Ann 

Worington one shilling lawfull money of England 

to be payd by my Executor hereafter named

Item all the rest of my goods & chattells I give and 

bequeath unto my sone in law Michaell Shortt 

of Colebrook in the County of Bucks Whatsoever 

and doe hereby constitute ordayne make & appointe 

him my full & whole executor of this my last will

& testamen and doe hereby make null & voide

all other former wills & done hereby Establish this

& this allone to be my last will & testament 

In witness whereof I have hereto sett my 

hand & seale the day & yeare first above 

written Isabell Browning

A Codicil to the within written 

will made the first day of 

January 1661


I the said Isbell Browning did then give out

of the goods chattells within given & by these

presents doth give and bequeath unto Henry Eldridge

my Grandchild one feather bedd & one feather boulster


Item I give & bequeath unto my grand child 

Elizabeth Eldridge one flock beadd & one 

flock boulster @ all things alsoe to continue 

& bee as in the will within written In witness 

whereof I have hereto sett my hand & seale 

the day & yeare first above written
