In the name of God Amen I Helene Wydnam of Colbroke in the 

countie of Buckingham being sick in bodie and holle in mynde and of a perfite memory 

lawdes and thanke be therfore gyven to almighty god my maker and Redemer the xiij th day 

of October the yere of our lorde god a thousande five hundred fiftie and eight make and

ordeyne this my present testament and last will in maner and fourme following first I bequeath

my soule unto the mercifull hand of Almightie god my maker and Redemer my bodie to be 

buryed in the Church of churcheyarde of langley at the discretyon of my executors here

undre wrytten Item I will that Henrye Lawrence and Elizabeth two of the 

children of John Lawrence late of Colbrook aforesaid deceased shall one eyther of theym

twentie marke according to theyre fathers will at the tyme therein lymytted And further to

see that Alice Lawrence nowe being the age of nyne yeres be answered her part of

portion of xx marke nowe being in the hands  of Richarde Berke Gentleman Servant unto my lady

Elizabeth Grace Item I bequeath all my marriage apparell unto Elizabeth Langley daughter of 

William Langley of Colebroke in holder Item I give unto the same William Langley my greate chest

with all thinge therein contaynes of stuff excepte one latten posnett wiche leter posent?I give and bequeath unto

Cicyly Wygans daughter of John Wygans of London gentleman  All the residue of all such  

goods catalle and debit as I have righte unto I hollie leave theym to the dispositions of my 

expections of this my testament These being witnessed Richard Lawforde Henry
