This is the last Will 

and testament of me Isaac Jagger of Colnbrook in the 

County of Bucks farmer first my Will and desire 

is that I may be buried in Upton Church yard

in the same grave with my late wife or as 

near thereto as Circumstances will admit I give and 

devise unto my Niece Happer Pope the Wife of

James Pope of Lattimar in the parish of Chesham

in the County of Bucks farmer All those my two

freehold meadows situate lying and being in 

Ickenham in the County of Middlesex called or

known by the name of Beirton Woods with their 

apputenances as the same are now in the Tenure

or Occupation of Benjamin Woodmen To hold the 

same Meadows and heireditaments unto my said

Niece Hannah Pope her heirs and Assigns of 

ever I also give and bequeath unto my said Niece 

Hannah Pope the sum of two hundred and fifty 

pounds Stock part of my five per cent Bank

Annuities I also give unto William Web Brother 

of the said Hannah Pope of Eton in the County 

of Bucks painter and Glazier the sum of three 

hundred pounds Stock other part of my five per

cent Bank Annuities Also I give unto Thomasin

Webb daughter of the said William Webb the 

sum of one hundred pounds Stock other part 

of my said five percent Bank Annuities Also 

to Jane East the wife of William East now

residing at or near Reading in the County of 

Berks the sum of one hundred pounds Stock

further part of my said five percent Bank

Annuities for her own separate use and Benefit

Also I give and bequeath unto Thomas Cane

the Elder of London Ambrose Cane of Wyrardisbury

farmer Isaac Cane of Colnbrook in the County of 

Bucks Mealman Sarah Moore wife of Richard 

Moore of Langley in the County of Bucks farmer

and Elizabeth Moore wife of John Moore of 

Feltham in the County of Middlesex farmer (sons

and daughters of my said late sister Sarah Cane)

Elizabeth Coventry Thomasine Coventry Rebecca Coventry and Sarah

Coventry (daughters of my late Sister Anna Maria

Coventry the sum of twenty pounds Stock each 

further part of my said five percent Bank Annuities 

to be paid to them in Case any Child or Children 

of my present Marriage shall be living at the 

time of my decease or born in due time afterward

but not otherwise and if any of the last names

nine persons shall die in my lifetime Then I 

will and direct that the Legacy of him or her 

dying shall go to and be divided amongst the 

child or children then living of such of the

said Legatees who shall die in my lifetime 

in equal shares and proportions   And I do hereby 

give and bequeath unto my dear wife Elizabeth

Jagger the sum of one hundred pounds five

per cent Bank Annuities to be paid to her by

my Executors and Trustees within three months 

next after my decease Also I give to my said

Wife the following articles of furniture now being

in or about my dwelling house that is to say 

Two bedsteads and furniture and two feather 

beds and bedding including ten pair of Sheets

Six Mahogany chairs Their table clothe table 

napkins a Silver Tea pot a Tea Strainer of China

or otherware including twelve cups and saucers

four Silver Table Spoons and a dozen Silver Tea

Spoons all severally to be suck as she shall perfer

or make their of and also the small Mahogany 

Dining Table and the Silver Milk Jug and I give

and bequeath unto my good friends Thomas 

Trumper of Harefield in the County of Middlesex

farmer George Fryer of Chancery Lane in the County

of Middlesex Law Stationer and Robert Mason of 

Salthill in the County of Bucks farmer and to the 

Survivor or survivors of them this Executors and 

Administrators the Sum of One thousand six hundred pounds 

Stock further part of my said five per cent 

Bank Annuities Upon Trust that they my said

Trustees or the Survivors or Survivor of them his 

Executors or Administrators do and shall pay 

and apply and dispose of the Interest and dividends

of the said Sum of one thousand six hundred 

pounds five per cent Stock as the same shall 

become due and payable unto and to the use of 

my said dear wife or otherwise to permit and 

suffer to receive and take the same for and during

the term of her natural Life to and for her own 

sole and separate use and Benefit and not to be

subject to the debts I Intermeddling or Contact of any

husband with whom she may happen to intermarry

but her receipt alone to be from time to time

a sufficient Acquittance and discharge for the sense

and from and after her decease of my said dear 

wife I direct that the said Sum of One thousand 

six hundred pounds Stock and such Interest as 

into and become part of the residue and

remainder of my personal estate and effects and

be applied and disposed of in manner hereinafter 

expressed and I hereby declare that the aforesaid 

Legacy and Annuity so given to my said dear wife 

shall be by her received and taken in full and her 

satisfaction of all Dower and thirds that she

may by law be entitled to and all the Rest 

Residue and remainder of my personal estate

and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of 

what nature or kind soever I give and bequeath 

unto my before named Trustees Thomas Trumper

George Fryer and Robert Mason Upon Trust that 

they my said Trustees or the Survivors or Survivor of 

them his Executors or administrators shall and do

as soon as conveniently may be after my decease 

sell and convert into Money all such part and 

parts of my said personal Estate as shall not 

consist of Monies or Securities for Money and 

got in and receive all such part and parts thereof as shall consist of

Monies or Securities for money and so
