This is the Last Will and Testament of me
Robert Hetherington of Colnbrook in the Parish of Langley in the County of Bucks
Shopkeeper In the first place I direct all my just debts legacies funeral and testamentary
charges and expenses to be fully paid I give and bequeath to my wife Ann Hetherington
all that my freehold Messuage or Tenement with every appurtenant and thereunto
belonging situate in Colnbrook aforesaid and now in the occupation of
Edwin?? To hold to my said Wife and her assigns for and during the term of her
natural life And from and after the decease of my said Wife I give and devise the said
Estate unto my daur Sarah Ann Hetherington upon her attaining her age of
twenty one years To hold to the said Sarah Ann Hetherington her heirs
and assigns forever I give to my said wife all my personal property whatsoever
and or wheresoever with my Stock in trade which trade It is my desire for her
to carry on for her own benefit and that of my family for and during her
nat’l life and after decease I give and bequeath all my stock in trade which I trust
my said wife shall keep at the least of the same value as it shall be at my decease
unto and equally between my two sons Robert Hetherington and John Hetherington
share and share alike Upon their attaining their respective ages of twenty one years
the business in the mean time I direct to be carried out by my executors for the
benefit of the said two children or to be by my said Executors disposed of as to they
shall be seen best All the reset residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects
whatsoever and wheresoever of what nature or kind the same may be I give and bequeath
unto and equally between my said three children Robert Hetherington John Hetherington and Sarah Ann Hetherington share and share alike to and for their
own absolute use and benefit I give a legacy of ten pounds to my Executors herein
after named I nominate constitute and appoint my brother John Hetherington and my friend Thomas Jordan the younger Executors of this my Will and hereby revoking
all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made do declare this to be
my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have to this will set my
hand and seal this twenty second day of June in the year or our Lord One thousand
Eight Hundred and twenty five Robert Hetherington Signed Sealed
published and declared my the said Testator Robert Hetherington as and for
his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his
request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names
