The Twenty Seventh day of July Anno Domini One Thousand Seven
Hundred and Thirteen I William Guy of Colebrook in the County
of Bucks Tallow Chandler being weak in Body but of perfect mind
and Memory praise be therefore given to Almighty God doe make and
ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner and forme
following (that is to say) first and principally I commend my soul
into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping through the
Merrits and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to have a full and
free pardon and forgiveness of my Sinns and my Body I commit to
the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter
named and as touching the Temporal Estate where with it hath
pleased Almighty God of his infinite mercy to bestow upon me I
give — bequeath and dispose off as followeth Item I give unto
my grandson John Guy the son of my deceased son Thomas Guy
all those two acres and halfe of freehold Land lying in Bowmore
field in the parish of Harmondsworth in the County of Middx
and to his heirs and assigns for ever Item I give unto my
Grandson Thomas Guy the son of my aforesaid son Thomas Guy
all that my Messuages or Tenement wherein Thomas Watkins
now dwells with the Orchards Gardens and all the appurtenants
thereto belonging situate lying and being in Colebrook in the County
of Bucks aforesaid To hold to him the said Thomas his heirs and
assigns forever Item I give unto my son John Guy all my personal
Estate whatsoever whom I make full and sole Executor of this my
Last Will and Testament upon this condition that my said son John
Guy do deliver up a Bond of fifty pounds to my daughter in Law
Elizabeth Guy being a debt of her late husbands Thomas Guy
Revoking and making void all former wills heretofore my me made
declaring this and no other to bee my last will and testament In
Witness whereof I have hereinto sett my hand and seale the day
and years above written William Guy his marke Sign Sealed
Published and declared by the said William Guy to be his Last Will

(also (upon this condition that he my said son John Guy so deliver up
a Bond of fifty pounds to my daughter in law Elizabeth Guy being a
debt of her late husbands Thomas Guy being first interlined
