In the name of God Amen the first day of November Anno Dim 1680
and in the five and thirty year of the reigne of our soveriegne
Lord King Charles the second of England I Robert Biddle of Cole-
brooke in the p[ar]ish of Horton in the Countie of Buck Cooper doe make
this my last will and testament in manner and form following
First commytting my soule into the hands of Almightie God and my
body to the earth to be buries in Horton Church and against the north
east boundary of the Chancell and my will is that my coupse should be put
into a playne coffin Item I give and devise unto my loving wife
Susanna for and during the terme of her naturall life and after
her decease unto my sonne Thomas Beddle and to his heirs and
assigns for ever All that my Messuage Cottage or Tenement w[it]h
the appurtenances situate being in Colebrook in the p[ari]sh of Horton
aforesaid commonly called or knowne by the name of the Maggpye
Alsoe I give unto her for and during the terme of her naturall
life the bed and bedsted with all furniture belonging to it wherein
I usuallie lodge, and four payed sheets two dozen napkins
four towells four pillow leers two table clothes, a payie coleirous
fire sgovell and longes apayir bellows one pott and pott hookes & pott
hanger one kittle one skillett on spitt six pewter dishes two pewter
poringers two sawsers six spoons one chamber pott six stooles and
chayres and constenient washing and brewing vessells and after her
decease I give the said goods to my executor Alsoe my will is that my
executor shall at all tymes hereafter provide and fairly lend unto my said
wife Sussana a sufficient horse or mare to carry her first to market and
far her kide to other places as often as she shall have occasion Item I
give devise and bequeath unto my grandchild Thomas Biddle
and his heirs and assigns for ever All that any freehold cottage or
tenement and orchard there unto adjoyning and all the appertenances
there unto belonging situate lying and being in Sipson in the p[ar]ish of
Harmondsworth in the countie of Middx Item I give and bequeath unto
my sone in law Roger Liveing the summe of thirtie pounds lawful
money of England to be payd within six months next after my wifes decease
but if he shall hapen to dye of depart this life before my wife Susanna then
the said thirty pounds to be paid to the said Roger Living executors or
administrators Item I give to my daughter Joane Living my trunke
marked S B and one payre of sheets, and to my daughter Ann
Richardson my trunke marked E B and one payre sheets and one of my
invet? tables Item all other my goods and chattells I give and bequeath
unto my son Thomas Biddle and doe hereby make him sole
executor to this my last will and testament In witness whereof I hand
hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and year first above written
