In the name of God Amen the nine and twentieth day of
January Anno Dimm 1687 and in the third year of the Reign
of our Soverigne Lord King James the second of England
I William Allom of Colebrooke w[it]h the p[ar]ish of Horton in the
Countie of Buck husbandman being in perfect mind and memory
thanks be to almightie God do make and ordaine this my last will
and testament in manner following first I commit my soule
into the hands of almightie God and my body to the earth to be
buryed and the discretion of my executrix hereinafter named Item
I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Sarah all
that my Cottage tenement w[i]th the appurtenances wherein I
now dwell situate and being in Colebrooke w[i]thin the p[ar]ish of Horton
aforesaid, for and during the term of her natural life
and after her decease I dive devise and bequeath the said cottage
or tenement w[i]th th[e] appurtenances unto my two daughters
Sarah Allom and Elizabeth Allom and to their heirs
and assigns for ever Item I give all my household goods unto
the said Sarah my wife for and during the terme of her nat-
urall life and after her decease unto my two aforesaid daughters
Sarah and Elizabeth equallie to be divided between them but if
either of them stall happen to dye or depart th[e]ir life before their
mother’s decease then the said goods shall be and remayne to the
survivor of them Item I make and ordayne the said Sarah my wife
sole executrix to this my last will and testament in witness where
of I have hereto set my hand and seale the day and year first above
written
