In the name of God Amen

I John West of Colebrooke in the Parish of Langley Marish

in the County of Bucks Yeoman being Indisposed in Health

but of sound and prefect Mind Memory and Understanding (praised

be God therefore) Do make and declare this my Last Will and

Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) first and

Principally I recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God

my Creator hoping through the Merits and Passion of my

Saviour Jesus Christ to have a full and free pardoned

confession of my Sins and my Body I commit to the Earth to

be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter

names and as to thing the Temporal Estate wherewith in hath

pleased Almighty God to bless Me I Give Devise and dispose

of the same as hereafter followeth Imprimis I Give unto my 

Son Stephen West Twenty Shillings to be paid hime by my

Executrix within Twelve Months next after my decease Item

 I give and devise and Bequeath unto my Loving Wife Grace West

the Cottage and tenement with the Orchard and Appurtenances

thereunto belonging Situate Standing Lying and being in the

Parish of Horton in the County of Bucks now in the Possesson

of Robert Marschall and all that Close of arable land called

Land Close containing by Estimation Three Acres be it more or

Less at Horton aforesaid and to her heirs and assigns for 

ever Item I Give devise and Bequeath unto my said 

Loving Wife all other freehold estate in the county of 

Bucks or elsewhere and reside of my Goods Chattels and 

Personal estate of what kind or Nature soever or where soever

being and not herein before by Me Given and Bequeathed 

after my debts Legacies and Funeral Expenses are paid and

discharges I give and Bequeath the same unto my said

Loving Wife whom I do hereby make and Ordain full and Sole

Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament and I do hereby

revoke disavow and make void all former Wills and Bequests

by Me heretofore made and declare this to be my Last Will

and Testament In Witness where of I have hereunto Set my

Hand and Seal the second day of December in the Eleventh year

of the reign of Our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God

of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the 

Faith etc. And in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven 

Hundred and Twenty Four   Jon West   Signed Sealed Published 

and declared by the above names John West the Testator to be

his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have 

set our Names as Witnesses at the request and in the presence of 

the said Testator   John Cox, Edward Spicer   Danl Foster Jnr
