In the name of God Amen I Richard West of Colnbrook in the County of Bucks husbandman Do make my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I give unto my Sister Mary one Shilling of lawful British money I give unto my Sister Jane one Shilling of like money all the rest of residue of my personal Estate of what kind or manner soever after my debts Legacies And funeral expenses and paid and discharges I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Ann West whom I make and appoint full and sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament In Witness thereof I have hereunto set my handed seal this Third day of June in the nineteenth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King defender of the Faith and so Forth and in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Six Richard West Richard West Signed sealed published and Declared by the said Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of those who have subscribed our manes as witnesses In the presence of the said Testator and of each other John Gunthorp, Danl Foster
This Will was proved at London before the Worshipful Robert Chapman doctor of Laws Surrogate to the Right Worshipful John Bettesworth also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted on the seventh day of July in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty by the Oath of Ann West widow the Relict of the deceased and sole executor names in the said Will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and Credits of the said decease being first sworn duly to administer.
