In the name of god Amen The one and twenteth daie of December 1622 in the Twenteth yeare of the Raign our sovraigne Lord Kinge James of England &c. I Jeffery Thare of Colebrooke in the Countie of Bucke Shoomaker beinge sick in bodie but of good and perfect memorie thanckes be to god for it doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following : First I bequeath my soule into the hands of  almightie god my maker and redeamer and my Bodye to the earth to be buryed at the discression of my executrix hereafter named Item I give and bequeath unto Edward Thare my sonne the some of fower poundes of lawfull money of England to be paid unto hime by my executrix within one yeare next  after my decease, alsoe I give unto my said donne Edward my great Brasse pott and further my will is  that my executrix hereafter named shall paie or cause to be paid unto my said sonne Edward within one yeare next after my decease, the some of six pounds of lawfull money of England being the remainder of the some of tenn poundes due to my said sonne Edward out of the goods and chattells of one Richard Thare deceased Item I give unto Elizabeth Bould my daughter nowe wyfe of John Bould of Colebrooke aforesaid shoemaker the some of fortie shillinges to be paid unto has by my ececutrix within three monthes next after my decease Item I give unto Jeffery Bould the sone of the above named John Bould the some of Tenn poundes of lawfull money of England to be paid unto him within one year next  after my decease by my executrix hereafter named: Item I give unto Elizabeth Bould daughter  of the above named John Bould the somme of five pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto her by my executrix within one yeare next after my decease Item I give unto the nowe daughter  of John Woodward of Colebrook aforesaid the somme of Tenn shillinges to be paid within two yeares next  after my decease Item I give unto all my godchildren the summe of twelve pence apeece And as  Concerninge all other my goods and Chattells whatsoever not given and bequeathed I whollie and absolutelie give and bequeath them unto Katherine Thare my wyfe whome I doe make sole executrix of this my last will and testament and I doe nominate and appoynte my loving friends Roger Crockford and Thomas Pitt to be overseers of this my last will And in wyttnes whereof unto this my last will I have putt my hand and seale the daie and yeare above written in the  presence of those whose names are hereafter written
