Marriage on Wednesday afternoon, a large
number of persons assembled at Poyle Congregational
Chapel to witness the wedding of the Rev. Frederick
Robinson, the late Pastor of the Church, and Miss
Adela Stransom, younger daughter of Mr. William
Stransom, of Colnbrook, a young lady exceedingly
popular in the district, and who has done much good
work in the Church and Sunday Schools. The
service was performed by the Rev. E. J. Evans a
former pastor at the Church, assisted by the Rev. E.
Newman, of Slough, and that the conclusion of the
ceremony the bride and bridegroom received hearty
congratulations and other expressions of good feeling
from their numerous friends assembled. There were
many handsome and useful preents, including some
to the bride of a public character, as recently
mentioned in this journal. Mr and Mrs Robinson
will reside in Larne, Ireland, where the Rev. Gentleman
has a pastorate.
